MobileJawi 2.0 presents an enhanced version of its custom keyboard application, providing an intuitive interface for typing in Malay, English, Arabic, and Jawi. This application facilitates direct input into any app without the cumbersome need for cut-and-paste operations.

The Rumi to Jawi keyboard allows users to type using the standard QWERTY layout, enabling seamless transliteration of Malay words from Rumi script into Jawi while typing. For instance, entering "saya" will automatically render the equivalent Jawi text "ساي." This feature enables users to produce Jawi text proficiently, even if they lack extensive experience with the script.

MobileJawi enhances user efficiency through predictive text functionality, suggesting words during typing. These suggestions are displayed in both Jawi and Rumi scripts, providing users with a means to verify their intended word choice. Additionally, an auto-correction feature is integrated before the transliteration process, ensuring accuracy. Users can easily insert words by selecting suggestions presented in Jawi.

Upon selecting a word from the suggestions, MobileJawi offers additional predictive text options for subsequent entries, again providing alternatives in both scripts for ease of selection. For common Malay shortcuts, MobileJawi recognizes abbreviations such as "jln," expanding it to "jalan" and presenting the corresponding Jawi spelling in the suggestions.

For transliteration limitations concerning non-Malay words, users can obtain Jawi letters through long-pressing keys or by switching directly to the Jawi keyboard. This mode continues to display the Rumi spelling alongside its Jawi equivalent for clarity.

The application's prediction feature is supported across all included languages: Bahasa (both Rumi and Jawi), English, and Arabic.

In summary, MobileJawi 2.0 proves to be a valuable tool for multilingual typing, ensuring users navigate their writing tasks efficiently and confidently.
